It takes a little imagination. It starts with a vision and a plan. Although it’s not necessarily easy, it is the easy part. The challenge hides in bringing that vision into the real world. Today, we nailed that.
With all hands on deck for the upcoming Blockchain Summit, we’ve had plenty of visualizations in (and out of) the office. Today, we got to put our thoughts into the real world. With the first official, full staff (both FinTank and the excellent team at IITs Kent Law School) walkthrough, we finally got to put all of our logistical plans into action. Spacing out tables, staging panels, ironing out A/V needs, catering, you name it.
Walking out, I couldn’t help but feel a sense of serious accomplishment. It was apparent that everyone felt much more confident about their designated roles; smiles all around. With so many late nights, long days, and lunch breaks untaken, finally putting the pieces together in the real world felt good.
Call me what you will, but, on the ride home, I couldn’t stop thinking about a quote by Theodore Roosevelt, “Far and away the best prize that life has to offer is the chance to work hard at work worth doing.”
